The walk will start at 09.50 am from the Curbar Gap Car Park to give everyone a chance to get there.

The planned route is about 5 km/3 miles.

Getting there

There are no public transport options to get to the start of this route.

Clothing/shoes

It is getting colder so wear warm clothing and pack hand gloves if you can – the weather can be finicky. Pack rain gear/coats/pants or a change of clothes in your vehicle. Hiking/walking shoes are compulsory, please – no sneakers, slippers or bare feet.

Food/drinks

The walk should take about 1.5 – 2 hours so pack brunch or light snacks and drinks – completely up to you. Typically, there should be a break in the walks for food/rest.

Weather

Unpredictable. That is what it is. So come prepared – see previous points.

Fitness level

The distance is about 5 km and there’ll be ups and downs – so you need to be okay with walking and some extensive going uphill.

The walk is free, of course. Tickets are to understand how many people are joining.
