Thrillers, Mystery, and Romance: Three Young Adult Authors Chat Teen Fiction
Three rising stars of Young Adult fiction talk about their work with author Esmie Jikiemi-Pearson. In Tomi Oyemakinde’s latest speculative thriller, We Are Hunted, seventeen-year-old Femi takes a top-secret business trip to a remote and mysterious island. Helen Comerford’s The Love Interest is a swoony, humorous take on the conventions of the superhero-verse. Drawing on his previous career as a celebrity journalist, award-winning author Benjamin Dean examines the dark underbelly of showbiz in How To Die Famous.
Esmie Jikiemi-Pearson is a Sunday Times bestselling author and the first winner of the Future Worlds Prize for SFF writers of colour. Her book, The Principle of Moments, is an epic sci-fi fantasy.
Guest Curated by Esmie Jikiemi-Pearson
